Framer

Add Sift to a Framer site with site-level custom code.

Framer lets you add custom code at the site level, which covers every page.

  1. Open your project, then Site settings.
  2. Go to General.
  3. Find Custom code, and paste into Start of <head>.
  4. Publish.
<script
  defer
  data-domain="example.com"
  src="https://sift.agentonboard.xyz/js/sift.js"
></script>

Custom code runs on the published site only. Use a published preview or your custom domain when you verify — localhost is ignored by design.

Framer's page transitions

Framer sites use client-side navigation. Sift tracks those changes through the History API, so each distinct URL is counted once.

If a Framer transition rewrites the URL more than once for a single navigation, each distinct URL produces a pageview. Identical repeats do not.

Custom domains

Register the domain visitors see in the address bar. If you use Framer's default *.framer.website domain for previews and a custom domain for production, register the custom domain and treat the preview domain as a second site if you want its traffic too.
